Interventional Pain Management or Surgery?
The choice between Pain Management and Surgery depends on a combination of:
Dr. Rubin performs the most current procedures including nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator trials and anesthetic/steroid injections in the spine, knee, hip, and shoulder. He also performs Botox injections for migraine and cervical dystonia.
Dr. Rubin prescribes and manages narcotic and non-narcotic pain medications when necessary. All patients sign a medication contract and are urine tested regularly. Should a problem arise, Dr. Rubin will work with the patient to determine the best course of action. Please note that new patients usually do NOT receive a prescription for narcotics on the first visit.
Dr. Rubin treats patients for a variety of worker’s compensation injuries. Our practice manager works together with the worker’s compensation case manager to ensure a smooth, effective treatment process.
Dr. Rubin provides second opinions for a variety of conditions. A second opinion visit includes a full exam and a review of imaging studies, medical/surgical history and treatment options suggested by another physician to assist the patient in deciding the best course of treatment.
Thanks to all of you. Your compassion and kindness is refreshing. Thank you for being so accommodating. I really appreciate all you've done and how nice you've treated me.
Mrs. W, Woodstock, GA, 2
Hard to believe, I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin for 7 or 8 years now. Dr. Rubin's understanding of my condition and his care has helped me enjoy a quality of life that was not possible. In fact, Dr. Rubin's care and personal touch was enough for me to get my wife to transfer her condition and care to him also. We cannot express or show our gratitude enough. The best part of our time, besides the normal relationship, is the excellent customer service. He understands, better than most, that his patients are his concern and his business. Not often can you find THIS level of quality, care, and service. We both endorse Dr. Jeffrey Rubin without reserve!
